Sophia Graziani is a costume and stage designer based in Montréal, Quebec. Upon graduating from The National Theatre School of Canada in 2017, her practice as a multidisciplinary artist has transpired into an exciting career in the performing arts, dance, music and the film industry.
Aiming for collaboration with local craftsmanship, her fabrication process mainly involves repurposing existing materials and bridging the gap between productions and communities that uphold the regenerative art of storytelling. This approach earned her a nomination for the 2019 META “Emerging Artist” award, recognizing her contribution as a stage builder on the show YEV presented by Scape Goat Theatre at the MAI in Montreal.
She currently lives and works out of Vancouver, British Columbia.
